Iron ore mining, so the entire town was dismantled and rebuilt on another location, because if mining was to continue, the entire town would eventually be undermined and collapse.

Correct. They are moving the town so that iron ore reserves under its old location can be exploited. Physical work started in 2014, but it will probably take until 2030 to complete the move: the first residents moved in last year.

Staying with this theme, in which film was a town destroyed after a network of tunnels was dug under it, and a bull falling into one of them?

The film is based on a musical of the same name (and "name" appears in the settlement's title) in the mid 19th centuary.
A piece of trivia is that one of the leading actors insisted on drinking the real stuff during filming, it may have helped the authenticity of his performance, but the director was not happy with the situation which needed several retakes of certain scenes

A bear and bull fight is arranged, an objection is made due to it being held upon the Sabbath, and the prayer is answered in spectacular fashion as the ground under the bull collapses and it goes on the rampage.
No Name City is destroyed as the bull knocks out the tunnel supports.

Hopefully, I'm not a sadist: so, this'll do. The White Knight is indeed concerned -- the haddocks'-eyes person is the subject of the song which the Knight sings at the end of his chapter. Namely, "the aged aged man" who -- in the song -- the Knight keeps asking how he earns his living; and then promptly forgetting the answers. (This ditty is actually a mickey-take of a poem by Wordsworth, The Leech-Gatherer; in which Wordsworth means to be very caring and right-on -- but only manages to come up with something pretty much as silly, as Carroll's "aged aged man" offering.)

@Calthrop I'm sure we had a similar question not long ago to which the answer was The White Knight. I remember quoting the number of the A3 loco 60077. As for earning a crust, I rob the occasional bank, just as a hobby you understand.

An island is considered to be a mass of land smaller than a continent. Therefore, as Australia is classified as a continent it does not qualify.
Madagascar, however is the fourth largest, but Sri Lanka is not in the running.
