For what reason was Alfred Worden listed in Guinness World Records?
Houston we have an answer. It was Apollo 15.I have forgotten the lunar mission but probably 15 or 16. He was in the Command Module for a long time. But I don’t think it is the record for most lunar orbits — but could be. I think it is something to do with the lunar orbital eccentricity so that for a while he was further from any other human being in recorded history.
