Then it has to be the Yellowstone caldera which is actually a system of 4 ? Or is it 5 caldera. Anyway if it/they blew it would be an extinction level event. So since Yellowstone that is automatically Montana, Idaho and Wyoming but I am sure it is so huge it actually just reaches northern Nevada and south east Oregon. That is what I remember from my studies and 3 visits there.

Sort of so I'll give it to you.

It's actually the various states that have played host to Yellowstone hot spot eruptions as it has wandered across the Northwest USA. Or more correctly the hot spot has never moved but then plate above it has.
