The answer is Interpol's 2002 debut album, Turn on the Bright Lights. It's one of my absolute favourites. Excellent brooding bangers of the post-punk persuasion, with flashing guitars and melodic basslines nestled between the folds of a snare-heavy mix. (And if that pretentious description doesn't faze you, then maybe not even the indistinct art-school bizarreness of the lyrics will either. Although Paul Banks will try his best.)

Boudacia Geraldine Granger then? This was the name given when Alice's child was Christened - and that episode has just been on tv when I switched it on! Spooky!
