Well done. His first film was in 1926. 342 films later his last one appeared in 2017 (although he had died by this point, he also appeared in 8 films in the 2010s which were released whilst he was still alive.)

Just dislike of long, elaborate, "foreign" names for exotic (real) creatures (or indeed, such names for "whatever") -- why "hippopotamus" ("river-horse" in the classical lingos) rather than "river-horse" in plain English?
