5 was indeed the Gibson Brothers. Might be other artistes had 'Cuba' as a song title as well.

1. I'll take a semi-educated guess at George Harrison, given it's one of the areas best associated with him (apart from Liverpool, of course).

I did wonder if it was a trick question and I can vaguely recall a song called I Ran but I had no idea who it was by. I hope you’re right!

You are correct that A flock of Seagulls sang I ran so far away, however there is a song called Iran, dont think it got to no 1 though!

As I'm away for most of today (Tues), time to wrap this quiz up.

The missing artist was Mohammad Nouri who sang Iran, sorry it was a stinker of a question.
