I do know the answer to this, but only because I thought that it was something else ... I checked, and found that I was wrong!

On the basis that I haven't guessed any previously, the answer is "The Dukes of Hazzard".

I'll move to the Strangers' Bar in the House of Commons and ask if you can name the British Prime Ministers who were born at the following places:

  1. Putney, London
  2. Marylebone, London
  3. Broadstairs, Kent
  4. Chelsea, London
  5. Morley, Yorkshire
  6. Portsmouth, Hampshire
  7. Sutton, Surrey
  8. Edgbaston, Warwickshire
  9. Bewdley, Worcestershire
  10. Eastbourne, East Sussex

All were Prime Ministers post-1900.

2. Harold MacMillan
4. Anthony Eden
(These may well be the wrong way around?)
7. John Major

and a long shot, because I don't think that he was a Yorkshireman, although he was a Northerner ...
5. Tony Blair?

I think 2 is David Cameron, whom I shall never forgive for sanctioning the electrification of the GWR (and if he didn't I'll still blame him anyway!)
