No idea if you’re talking about actors or characters. The only one I’ve ever heard of is Cathy Marshall who was a copper in The Bill a long while ago
You are correct - they were all early coppers among others in The Bill tv series

You've solved the case detective - the floor is yours

Ton Koopman conducts with his hands alone 'using a baton is like threatening the musicians with a stick', he explained

A famous conductress uses a baton
'Conducting is like dining: one may eat with ones fingers, but I prefer to use knife and fork', she said
What is her name?

Yes, Simone Young is the right answer, I took the question from a book of conversations with conductors about their batons, or lack thereof

Over to you

The law does not deal with trifles - ie trivial matters should not be dealt with under the law.

When i worked in banking and was dealing with paying out redress the Financial Conduct Authority de minimis guidelines stated that we didn't have to pay out settlements to customers if the redress value was under a certain amount.

Yes M'lud!

A european country's first permanent colonial settlement was Port Royal in the province of Acadia. What is the modern day name of the province and in which country can it be found?

I'll take this if I may?

I've recently been re-reading "You Only Live Twice" by Ian Fleming. There are two connections between the book and our current situation - can you name them, please?

Do the answers also appear in the plot for the 1967 feature film?

Believe that the film plot differs significantly in places from the original Ian Fleming book.

Have seen the film but not read that particular 007 book.

The theme of Britain's declining position in the world is absolutely one key one iirc (10 years since I last read it) and with Brexit etc, this is very much the case. The other one is trusting intelligence. MI6 not trusted and info not shared by Americans - the Steele dossier would not have helped but other reasons too - the Huwaii 5G situation though that may have changed. Tanaka discussed it with Bond and said something like you gave away empire too easily or something like that.

Or were you after the fact that Bond was sent on an "impossible mission" much like we are at with Brexit negotiations and that was what TM had before resigning and giving way to de Pffefel ?
