Location
Preston Lancs
Georgia is correct- Dalton/ Cohutta GA to be precise. Marla Maples Trump is from Cohutta GA a suburb of Dalton and went to high school in NW Whitfield County in Tunnel Hill. All 3 locations are in Whitfield County. She was a beauty queen and won Miss Georgia. Being a model she naturally caught the Donald’s eye.

Shows how interested I am in current affairs: I was clearly thinking originally, of an earlier holder of the honour concerned.

Emphasising if I may, that it's open floor -- I got the correct state via elimination, not knowledge !

If I may take the floor.

What is the shortest motorway in Britain, and where does it run to and from?

Edit: For clarity, these are the M classified roads, not Ax(M).

The A6144(M) "Carrington Spur" branching off the M60 at Junction 8 in Greater Manchester isn't very long, just over a mile or so; not sure if it still has motorway status. Certainly wasn't ever built to normal motorway standards!

What about the little bit of motorway that goes up to Erskine Bridge? Is that a proper motorway or an Axx(M) one?

The Walden Summit Motorway, which I think is a separate road on pathetic motorways? Other than that, the A64(M) in Leeds?

Sorry, doesn't fit my definition of motorway. My opening post says that A(x)M , e.g. A6144(M) does not count. (Sorry, I should have said Ax(M).)

The A64(M) does not qualify under my definition of motorway (M roads, not Ax(M)). Where is the Walden Summit motorway?

It is a proper motorway, and it is the winner at 0.5 miles. Do you want to provide a number?

And on that subject, on the website there is also the M96, a 360m long length of motorway through the Fire Service College in Moreton-in-Marsh.

Cricket. Most people will be aware that Don Bradman has the highest test batting average. But of players who’ve completed at least 20 innings, who has the second highest?
