I was thinking that they were names of horses, and being 3 hours apart, probably at the same race meeting. But what was so special about a particular race meeting - most only have one special race a day, or is a festival of 3 - 4 days. Therefore I can only assume that they were the first and seventh horse Frankie Detori rode in a single day to claim seven victories.

Well done, that’s spot on. I can’t remember all of the other five but Diffident, Decorated Hero and Lochangel were three of them. Fujiyama was a 12/1 chance but went off 2/1 favourite as desperate bookies tried to limit their losses. Dettori somehow got it home despite it being under top weight.

A few independent bookies were bankrupted as a result
