A music question in three parts:
1 - who wrote a 1988 book called “The Manual (How To Have A Number One The Easy Way)”?
2a - with what song had they previously had a number one themselves, using the methods espoused in the book?
2b - what name did they release that song under?
3 - which European group released a novelty song following the book’s advice, and did indeed have a massive hit, albeit not quite number one in the UK?
I know 1, 2a and 2b was The KLF /Timelords Doctoring the Tardis.. not sure about no.3.
