I'm going to be a little too busy to be checking for answers for the foreseeable, so I'll cede the floor.

Dale, as you identified the plane, would you care to pose a question, or do you call an open floor?

Thank you, here's my question:

What do the following have in common?

Robin Askwith
Jeff Astle
Jim Davidson
George Formby
Van Morrison

Is it to do with Window Cleaners?

I know Jim Davidson had a window round once & Askwith & Formby are obvious. No idea with Jeff or The Van.

That's it. Technically Jeff & John were understudies in the Broadway show with Jeff plaaying Danny & John the relatively minor role of Doody. Your stage

Okay, try this: what record does the horse Nijinsky still hold and when did he set it?

I'm surprised that no-one's even had a guess about this, so I'm going to give you the answer.

Nijinsky is the last horse to win English racing's "Triple Crown", i.e. the Derby, the St Leger and the 2,999 Guineas - and this was done in 1970.

An open stable awaits .... !
