I don't watch the show, but seem to remember that some comments were spray painted that said the show was racist

That's right. A production company hired three artists to spray Arabic graffiti on a set, and the artists decided to protest the show's portrayal of Muslims by writing messages such as "Homeland is racist" and "Homeland is watermelon" (apparently that's quite a diss) in Arabic.

Nobody seemed to realise what the artists had done, and the anti-Homeland graffiti was broadcast on the show.

Although the two countries are in a state of war that has lasted for decades, North and South Korea have voice contact between each other that is not overseen by the UN - what is it?

No... The JSA is (or rather was) overseen by the UN - this is the only other way they talk through vocal means, but either end does not see the caller. As a bit of a clue, think what sometimes goes between North and South Korea

Close enough I suppose.

North Korea and South Korea can talk verbally to each other at the moment only through a landline/radio connecting two ATC towers to aid in the direction of flights. As North Korean laws forbid the purchasing of equipment to talk to the South, the IATA brought it and the North rents it from them.

On that note.

Mr Royal, are you sure about your answer there? The gov.uk death and berevement pages have nothing about paying for funerals from an estate being a law matter, just that it is one of the options available.

Paying for a funeral

The funeral can be paid for:

- from a financial scheme the person had, for example a pre-paid funeral plan or insurance policy
- by you, or other family members or friends
- with money from the person’s estate (savings, for example) - getting access to this is called applying for a ‘grant of representation’ (sometimes called ‘applying for probate’)

On matters of estate the advice is...

1. Check if there’s a will - this normally states who sorts out the estate. If there’s no will the next of kin can apply.
2. Apply to get a ‘grant of representation’ - this gives you the legal right to access things like the person’s bank account.
3. Pay any Inheritance Tax that’s due.
4. Collect the estate’s assets, eg money from the sale of the person’s property.
5. Pay any debts, eg unpaid utilities bills.
6. Distribute the estate - this means giving any property, money or possessions to the people entitled to it (‘beneficiaries’).
