If it helps I've eliminated - moons of Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus, UK prime ministers, US states, demons, deities, Olympic venues, deadly sins, wonders of the world, Spice Girls, pre-decimal coins, violin makers, Belgian provinces and several others that I've forgotten. Time to try some obscure ones, types of cheese maybe?

OK. Since the start of automatic promotion from the Football Conference to the Football League (in 1986), three clubs have been refused promotion despite winning the Conference - name them.

Got it in one!

The story is that Ziskin demanded the abortion line was removed and Fincher agreed only on condition that he could choose an alternative which could not be cut. Ziskin is said to have been horrified at Fincher's new line and asked for the original line to be put back in.

The director's chair is yours...
