Well I really was expecting some eastern European painter or revolutionary by the look of the second name, but he turns out to be Crazy Horse, the famous Lakota Indian, sorry native American, who was stabbed to death by a bayonet in Fort Robinson, Nebraska in 1877, after his fame in the battle of Little Big Horn.

This is a very simple question.

If you flew directly eastwards from my house, which would be the first foreign country you would arrive at?

Obviously, you will look this up on a map, but guess an answer in your head before, and when you give the correct answer, tell me if you were surprised.

Cheers

John

The answer is Germany (You would make landfall just North of Bremerhaven). For the record my first guess would have been Denmark, but my world map above my desk tells me that you would have to live between Newcastle and Aberdeen for that to be the case.

Sorry Ladies and Gentlemen. I've had a lot on lately.

In Entertainment: Which puppet character was designed in 1962, and originally voiced by Ivan Owen?

The fifth Test Match between South Africa and England played at Durban in 1939 was declared to be abandoned as a draw after nine days play in a twelve day time span, with England on 654-5 in their second innings.

The reason for the abandonment was to ensure that the England team could catch the boat back to England.

It's not the 'Blood Plasma' is it?

I think I have set this conundrum over the required knowledge level, as the answer was Gamma Globulin, which is blood-derived and used in injection form to temporarily boost the immunity level of a patient.

As such, I award the prize to you and let you set the next one for us to solve.

Thanks Paul,

My question has a few parts to it...

With an estimated fortune of $2.1 billion, gained from revenue, memorabilia and such what, which NFL team is the wealthiest? And from which 'Conference' are they?

Can you also tell me how many Super Bowl wins this team has?
