The first letter is "M", it is a seven-letter word with no less than FIVE vowels in the last six letters.
The only name I can think of that fits the bill is that of the Maeotae though I doubt if they have been definitely identified as Indo-Aryan.
Now we enter the world of Hollywood musicals:
What was the name of the singer (the same person in all three cases) who lent her voice to
i) Deborah Kerr in The King and I,
ii) Natalie Wood in West Side Story and
iii) Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady?
An additional question:
In which Hollywood musical did this singer make a (singing) appearance, though in this case the leading lady sang her own songs?
She played sister sophia in my late Grandmothers favourite film The Sound of Music. And indeed the leading lady Julie Andrews posseses a beautiful singing voice, it would have been a crime to not allow her to sing for herself.
Now since its a split pot i think its fair to say the floor is open.

He said that the words "rang a bell" and would send me an e-mail when he returned home.
I logged on early this morning to find his answer in my inbox, which is as follows:-
GROUP : Dragonforce
NEXT LINE : "Through the fire and the flames we carry on"
He said that this was featured in the video game...Rock Band 3.
