Couldn't give you the final name, but are they French Queen Consorts?

Since the various large memorials across the country, including those at Charing Cross and Banbury, are more accurately called Eleanor Crosses ( as they marked each overnight resting place of the body of one Queen Eleanor on the way to burial in London ) I would suggest they are early English Queen Consorts.

But I don't know the next name in line either!

Almost there...they are all English Queens. But the sequence is also important. The next one is Philippa.

Nope - OK, I'll tell you as you all have the right people and I may be away from the computer for a while. They are the mothers of kings from Richard 1st - the two Eleanors at the start are the same person, as Richard and John were brothers

What Australian TV series ran for 692 episodes from 1979 to 1986 on mostly a weekday daily basis and was subsequently screened in Britain, first by ITV then later by Channel 5. Also what was the screen name of a strong female role in this series.

It was screened in Britain as Prisoner : Cell Block H

However, the female screen role in the second part of the clue was such a fulcrum of all the later scripts in the series that I feel that I must ask for the screen surname by which she was commonly known.

I have been re-watching Prisoner - Cell Block H from old VHS tapes (Remember them?) my late Grandmother made at the time it was first broadcast in the UK.
I have to say that for me Bea Smith is the strongest female role in the latter series.

A person of pure evil and without a spark of humanity in her body.....but someone who made the audience ratings high for this programme, as the viewing audience were always waiting for her next acts of malice against the prisoners.

I have to say that for me Bea Smith is the strongest female role in the latter series.

She was by far the prisoner with the strongest character, but was not afflicted with the innate evil of the warder, Joan Ferguson who used her official position of authority to mask her evil ways.

Excellent taste sir, it is one of my favorites too.
Texas Bound and Flyin' was the opening credit song to Smokey and the Bandit 2 and the Artist the late great Jerry Reed played Cleatus 'The Snowman' Snow.
