Let's stay with lighthouses.
Which ship was wrecked off the Longstone Lighthouse in 1838?
And where was it sailing between?

I don’t think it was the Forfarshire, but if it was I will say London and Leith. Although I have a feeling that the Longstone is in another part of the country.

I am not sure how to reply to your answer.:D
However it was the Forfarshire.
And as a clue it was sailing between the two cities in the name of the company.

The SS Forfarshire was the ship sadly wrecked off the Northumberland coast and where a local (Grace Darling - the daughter of the keeper of the Longstone lighthouse - located on one of the Farne Islands) famously rowed out in an open boat at first light the following morning to rescue a number of the stricken crew.

Not sure where the ship was headed before coming to grief. If not Leith (Edinburgh) then maybe Dundee or Aberdeen.

Bristol Street Travel offer weekend breaks at Bull Hotels in Birmingham and Nottingham?

I've heard of Bristol Street Motors but not Travel - is there a connection there?
If so, is the connection anything to do with cars or road vehicles?

O.k. Going back to the "SS Forfarshire" shipwreck question, for how many years after her famous rescue, did the celebrated lighthouse keeper's daughter Grace Darling live for?
