General Gaming Thread

One game I like is Skyrim, I can spend hours playing that. Next time I play it I might delete all my save games and not use fast travel (more fun with more random encounters)

I still adore Skyrim - despite its problems. I haven't played for quite awhile, so I think next time I'll delete my save and start fresh with a new character. There are some absolutely brilliant mods on the Steam Workshop too - especially things that expand the world like Falskaar.

I have a lot more in my Steam library - but these are what I'm into at the moment, though they're pretty much what I was playing 10 years ago

I've also got a PS4 (after my Xbox 360 died) but I've only currently got GTA V for that - I'm intending to do most open-world driving/shooting type games on console, as I prefer playing on a big screen.

Love those games, I'm on RCT as I type this! Theme hospital is also great, I recently picked it up for free on Origin (the only time I use that program is for the freebies!)

My problems were more cosmetic, and the odd gameplay bug - maybe I was being overly harsh!

Did you install the high-res textures DLC (think it's a free one on Steam)? One useful mod I like is one that makes ore veins glow, the number of ore veins that I passed before installing that must have been very high.

I'm hoping that if Bethesda bring out another one in the series that it be set during a second elves versus everyone else war, but across all of Tamriel (the continent where the games are set), just imagine how long it'd take to traverse that map without fast travel!

I'm interested to see the next instalment, I think the focus has largely been with Elder Scrolls Online which doesn't really interest me. A bigger map does sound right up my street!

That would make it a bit easier when carting (sorry!) god knows how much ore around, or old dwarven items to smelt into bars.

As you can guess, I like to play Skyrim as well. Little known fact, I was a beta tester for ESO online, and while I understand their desire to be different from the rest, I didn't like the interface and it's usability compared to other MMO games, such as SWTOR and WoW. However, seeing as it's going free to play in about a month, I may well give it another try.

Another game (series) I like to play is Football Manager, and I had a first (for me anyway) earlier on. In all the years I've been playing it, I've never had a successful appeal against a red card, until about 2 hours ago!
