Thought I'd make a thread where fellow gamers can share what they're into at the moment, because I'm interested what variety we have!

At the moment, I'm massively into Dota 2 (a MOBA by Valve), with most of my time into that. Aside from that, I have a variety of different games on Steam, but I mostly only play Euro Truck Simulator 2 and other small indie games on it.

I also have a PS3, which is mostly used for racing games (GRID 3 is the one I'm on at the moment), and I'm still into Rock Band, but not as much as I used to be.

I have quite a few titles on 3DS/DS as well, mostly Pokemon games though. My partner has also let me borrow her N64/Gamecube as I grew up with (the superior) PS1/PS2, so I'm slowly playing through some old Zelda games.

I think that's it, I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys play!

Because if someone doesn't know what Dota2 is saying its a MOBA will really clear it up!

I'm playing a bit of Command: Modern Air Naval Operations at the moment. Basically allows you to simulate naval and air warfare from around 1945 until 2020ish. It is, however, hideously expensive and the only reason I have it is it was on sale recently and heavily reduced. The learning curve is also quite something.

Also still play mods on Warcraft III with some of my friends fairly regularly. Line tower wars, rabbits vs sheep and Pudge wars being perennial favorites.

Although between me and my partner we own a PS3 and Xbox 360 I am a PC gamer through and through.

At the moment I'm mostly either playing trainsim (!) when I wan't to relax or Wargame: Red Dragon if I want to watch some cold war porn!

I did by both GTAV and Far Cry 4 but while both were good neither lived up to their hype. GTA IMO both missed its hype and didn't really feel like the current gen version of GTA:sA we were hoping for.

As for Far Cry 4 the gameplay was outstanding and brilliant. Some of the stuff you could do (hunt rhinos with a grenade launcher from a gyro-copter for example) are amazing. But the story and characters are no where near as good as FC3. While Pagan Min was easily as good as Vaas, if not better, for whatever reason they decided to not use him anywhere near as much.

Not strictly gaming in the sense of playing online against others, but I wonder if anyone can beat my high score on the CBBC Alien Alliance ( which my daughter got me into )?

( Attachment is a bit slow to open - be patient! )

I agree on GTA V not being as good as it was made out to be; I inherited from my brother on PS3 after he finished it, and I've played it a couple of times, but never been so hooked that I've wanted to continue playing it any more than any other game.

Also Peter, I never realised how bad I am at those games until now :P I only got about 25,000 on it!

Spent a disproportionally high amount of time since my exams playing Red Dead Redemption. Still by a country mile the best game I have ever played after all these years.

I need to do myself a massive favour and get RDR. Why I haven't picked it up yet, I don't know.....

I am playing Fire Emblem on the GBA (technically on my DS Lite though). A lot of the more modern games hold no appeal for me although I would like to play Sonic Generations on console

Dark Souls II on the 360 (unbelievably hard) and Skyrim on the PS3 at the moment. I can't play more than two games though or I'll get too involved in one and neglect my other save files ;)

Recently on the PC I've been playing Sid Meiers Pirates!
It's a fun game that can be played for weeks without boredom.
I also play Elite 2 the space game with realistic planet sizes and distances. A bit annoying at times but a game I like.

My brother has a PS3.
Minecraft and Lego games are what we play on that.
GTA V is rubbish. The only side mission is taxi driving which no longer has a time limit so gets real boring driving the same passenger around until they give a $5,000 fare. San Andreas was best! 3 cities many towns. Jumbo jets, train driving, truck missions, cop/paramedic/shop missions.

My signature gives a very big clue as to what I mostly play, Steam says I've clocked up over 1000 hours on Trainz 12, but that's because I leave CMP running whilst I do other background tasks.

Minecraft very occasionally, I find I can't play it for more than two hours without getting bored. I'm replaying GTA IV Liberty City stories as well, on and off.

I don't do multiplayer though on any games as I find a barely pubescent 12 year old repeatedly screaming various insults about my mother, every time he looses a game to get very tedious.

I really like Planetside 2, eas its essensially a modern version of one of my favorite games (Battlefield 2142). However I'm having graphics issues with it..

I am however playing Navyfield, battleships and 2.5d graphics. Its free too.

You're playing the wrong multiplayer games then, deviate away from COD and Battlefield and the scene gets a bit better ;)

JPEG format is best for something like that ;) Fixed.

I see you use an unsupported operating system. I hope you're aware of the risks?

1) Thanks for the fix - couldn't work out how to convert it!

2) Funnily enough, I already have a computer consultant booked round here on Saturday to deal with things.:)

I've been playing a lot of Simutrans pak128 Britain recently. I've built a great network, but it's a little overcapacity...

I always played on trains on games where I could.
Minecarts on Minecraft recently.
On GTA 3: Liberty City I noticed the El-train has 3 bogies, is that possible as I haven't seen real trains like that??

Chris Sawyer's Locomotion is my favorite simulator game.

I have a feeling it was/is fairly common on Eastern bloc trains, locos at least. Although I might be imaging that.

One game I did love playing on was LMA Manager as I can spend hours on that but sadly they stop making that game since 2007 due to not many people buying it.

PS3
FIFA 15 - Meanly on Online special on FUT mode, my team is ok but it could be better.
F1 2014
GT6 (Gran Turismo)
GRID Autosport

XBOX 360
Forza Horizon 2 - lot of people doesn't like this game on 360 version but I think is very good and improve on first one.
GTAV
PES2015 - Online can be pain due to losing connection quite lot of times.
Saints Row 4

Did you have the first GRID/what are your thoughts on GRID Autosport compared to it? :P

Grid Autosport is ok but I haven't play on it for while but from what I remember it feel like Grid 2 which I have to say probably best one that Codemasters have made.

I had first Grid but didn't really play on it but from what I remember I quite like demolition derby mode trying going round been last car on track but quite few times crashing my car into wall. :(

Interesting, because most people loved GRID, but really did not like GRID 2, as the driving was so different on it. I really like GRID Autosport, but the original is the best, probably the best racing game I've ever tried.

And yes, Demolition Derby was absolutely amazing :D

Yeah I hear a lot people say same thing about Grid 2 but I think reason why I like it was because it was first Grid game I buy before buying first one (Race Driver) and I didn't had any problem with driving or feel to game.

Probably best racing game I play on is Mario kart but on PlayStation or Xbox it have to be Forza or even PGR 4 (Project Gotham Racing) as really like that game and shame that they didn't made anymore Project Gotham Racing game series.

One game I like is Skyrim, I can spend hours playing that. Next time I play it I might delete all my save games and not use fast travel (more fun with more random encounters)
