That is a shock. In some senses it's historically been one of the safest seats for Labour. But it swung hugely to SNP last time. That's a bad loss.

Still, I'll take a loss to Labour better than a loss to Conservative.

Ruth Cadbury and Chuka Umunna have been re-elected in Brentford & Isleworth and Streatham respectively. Liam Byrne has also been re-elected, but Morley & Outwood has gone Tory again. Good to see Cadbury elected without any issues (her seat was a marginal).

Labour is winning a larger share of the vote in Scotland than the Tories. In other news, they're second.

Kezia Dugdale is either just lucky or the best political strategist of all time. I think I know which one.

Glad Lib Dem got Edinburgh West although our previous MP was good once she quit the SNP and sat as an independant. Her views and the partys didnt match and after quitting she was actually quite effective.. LibDem woant do any harm here, its a mixed constituency with the very poor and the very wealthy in one remit.
