Near Nottingham? visit the Nottingham transport heritage centre, Great Central Railway (Nottingham) on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th December 2007 for some christmas action! Entertain the kids by meeting santa on the train, and recieving a present, whilst the adults can relax with a glass of sherry and a mince pie on the train, enjoying the magic of the festive season! We will have a very special train running passenger services between the main station at Ruddington, and Rushcliffe Halt: The newly delivered Great Western pannier tank, running with our fleet of maroon mk1 carriages, newly equipped with heaters for your comfort, whatever the weather!
