Hey all
well today I managed to get to the GCR Diesel Gala which was pretty fun.
Got some decent millage on some very decent traction and even a very nice bit of brekkie.
Any who here are the shots of the day with a few one's of the miniature railway to come!!!

God shots, I seethat at least visually the weather was on a par with Saturday. I particularly like the pan but then I would, you've seen how many I do!

I actually took the pan because I had recently been looking at your site an seen that shot of the 47 on the scrap and thought I wouldn't mind trying that so really I have you to thank for that mate!

I second James' request for settings info,i've recently got a Nikon D50,so similar to yours.
Interested what settings you capture with and also what settings for fast movement

Right then you two basically I used the auto setting (the without flash one though) but i changed the focus priority to the moving objects option so everything but the object you follow is blurred.
I do use manual settings from time to time but as I am still new with this camera I let it do the work mainly.
Sorry If I have put this in a really crap way of wording it but I don't know the exact names.

Cheers everyone for great comments I should have two new loads of photo's to plug from yesterday and today later on tonight.

Oh you do the same as me then Auto without flash, I did have a play round the other day on manual, I was wondering how did you do that what is highlighted in bold in the above?:?

Okay just figured it out it's on the option screen it's called the AF-area mode (its a square within this [ ]) any who click the option with the motorbike on it sorry again for maybe putting it in a strange manner but let me know how you get on mate.

Oh when I was playing about once I remember seeing the picture of a motobike on the sceen think that was to either select Auto or Manual not sure. I foind out tomorrow off to Ashford (Kent)
