Had a great trip out yesterday at the GCR diesel gala

08632's from the RSS fleet along with resident Class 08's 08528 (D3690), 08694, and 08907 working shuttles

There were late beer ex services and a good choice of ales available

£18 for the rover ticket was superb value - even the silly spotterish behaviour was a a minimum - so a superb day out

yes it was a very good day with an intense timetable ( and beer!)

Sadly it looks like the blue 33 failed on Friday evening and was out of service on the Sunday.

On a more positive note it was announced that "all the legal paperwork" had been signed to allow the new bridge over the MML to be installed.

Yeah it was meant to be 632, that remains at RSS HQ. 480 substituted and had been painted the week before. It had numbers applied on Saturday later on
