GC ticket upgrades?

Can anyone tell me if its possible to change a sunderland - york GC only ticket to an any operator ticket or open on morning of travel? roughly how much would this cost if possible?

No, TOC specific tickets cannot be excessed into inter-available tickets.

I recommend purchasing GC specific walk-on tickets on board the train, as there is no benefit to buying in advance (apart from with the FGW 5 pound off offer I guess).
