Just out of interest has this service been taken over by a 180. as it appears to have been booked for platform 10 tomorrow. thanks in advance graeme.

got the platform info from realtime trains.

Can I ask what platform allocations has to do with stock allocations?

Platforms 9, 10 and 11 are somewhat shorter at Kings Cross, I can only assume that a HST wouldn't fit in 10, ergo it must be a 180.

Just the fact i've never known a HST go into platform 10 at KGX, I've only got on a 180 from 9 and that was a while ago.

I believe that a 5 Caoch HST will fit in 10 but not 11... I think a 6 coach will fit in 9 and possibly 10, though if not right at the stops will foul 11.
