Order what you think you want , anything doesn’t fort properly, take on your first day and joely will sort it all out for you and re order stuff if need be , she also has a back up closet of stuff too… I’m bit chunky but fit into XL polos and jackets , tbh the sizes are pretty much spot on , don’t get shirts that are too tight as it’s clip on ties if you are a driver .Hi all. Thank you mate, it should be arriving tomorrow. I spoke to the person ordering the uniform and they said about exchanging stuff. Check all your equipment before you go , head torch , hand torch… I’ve had faulty ones often. Check the straps on the bag too ! Also I recommend the 12 quid bump cap off of Amazon instead of company issued one, groundstaff your hard hat anyway..if driver the bump cap peak is too long and will catch on everything walking through the engine room . Thank you mate. My previous employee issued a bag and the fist day I walked across the yard the strap snapped. That’s good to know about the bump camp. There is no overtime rate. It is all flat rate (except over xmas). Extra hours done on a contract shift will come off your yearly contract total. Any hours done on a rest day will be paid either every *4 weeks or yearly. The only way you can get extra is if you say you'll do a shift for 12hrs RDW when the shift length is less than that....or if they a really stuck you can sometimes convert a contract shift into a RDW shift.
*you have to choose this option at the start of the financial year. If you join the company after then you will be stuck at being paid overtime yearly until you can change it the next financial year.
