GBRF Rail Operator

[NNR Engineer]

Does anybody know what a Rail Operator job entails at GBRF?

Sorry for the late reply. Im in the states so internet access is limited.

The RO grade is a relative new grade at GBRf. I believe its is similar to the ATM grade accept ROs tend to stay in one location where as ATMs can go anywhere and will do engineering work at weekends.

As an RO you will be responsible for the safe preperation of trains, attaching and detaching wagons and pulling points etc etc. There may also be the odd driving duties within the yard so you may need to pass the drivers assessment....or a version of it.
