Read elsewhere from a link to a Financial Times that GBRF are wanting to run a Yorkshire to North London HSTS service from 2018. Converting IC125s would take 6 lorries off the roads per journey - 2 return trips a day.
I hope this happens.
Would it be allowed to have 1 or 2 passenger vehicles on the same train and offer some cheap fares to boot?
Funnily enough I was thinking about how mixed passenger and goods trains probably wouldn't happen again.
