I really think the livery should also include a "Call 999 message for an emergency" though as the BTP recommends on their website.

How many people don't know the number for emergencies? People really don't need spoon feeding absolutely everything.

Another photo of 69016, courtesy of a fellow photographer who lives near me. Steve clearly has a strong view on this! :D

A suggestion elsewhere that it's hoped 69015 will be released for testing at the end of June and then, if testing is OK, to Arlingtons in July

Given my suggestion of Police livery appears to have been taken up (albeit not the correct jam sandwich version) can I therefore request that 015 is outshopped in Mr Blobby colours?

In fairness much of the population won't remember 'jam sandwich' police cars now, just as they won't remember 'panda' livery cars or black mariahs. Some places didn't even have 'jam sandwich' anyway, it always confused me as a kid until I took notice when watching The Bill; jam's not yellow, our local police cars were closer to a lemon curd sandwich! Complete with blue border they were very similar to the modern 'Battenberg' colours, when they changed it wasn't really noticeable.

It's a class 57 but...

Someone on midlands trains gen site claims that a 69, likely 69010, is to be named 'North Norfolk Railway' at their Rails and Ales event in June

69010 duly named 'North Norfolk Railway 1975-2025 The Poppy Line' at Sheringham yesterday

Large logo Railfreight livery is an obvious omission from the current list!

For 69.015 livery, my money's on some special livery that celebrates the LGBTQ or trans community ... :D
How about this?? ;)

Or let Banksy design the livery. At least it will guarantee its eventual preservation!
Unless it gets spontaneously shredded on its withdrawal...

I didn't see the TEE variant in active service but a 1986 trip to Denmark enabled some photos of DSB's all-silver version as they loaded onto the rail ferry at Nyborg.

If so, they would have been very quick as 69016 was outside yesterday. Couldn't see it today.

Just seen a green undercoat 69/56 at Longport. Is it safe to assume its 69015 and couldn’t be anything else?

I would say it is 150% certain it is 69015 as all the others are painted. I saw it a couple of weeks ago, it was certainly a 69.
