Leaving London Gateway where do the 99s raise their pans?
Don't think we'll know for a good while, as that working seems to have been a one-off for now until full certification for revenue service is granted.Leaving London Gateway where do the 99s raise their pans?
Tanks for that, the next indication could be if an extra STP 4M47 gets added to the schedules for an identical start time on Tuesday 23/06/2026.There is a 0L47 1830 Leicester L.I.P. to Hams Hall Gbrf in for Monday afternoon, so a good chance that 4L47 will have a flake in it somewhere.
New VSTP Old Dalby to Hams Hall GBRFI see the 18.30 path has been activated but do we know which loco or locos please?
If the 0L47 path from Leicester runs it will be either 99003, 99008 or 99009.I see the 18.30 path has been activated but do we know which loco or locos please?
New 4M47 path for Tuesday:Tanks for that, the next indication could be if an extra STP 4M47 gets added to the schedules for an identical start time on Tuesday 23/06/2026.
Last time (Wednesday 17/06/2026) the normal 4M47 (ie non-STP) got used for a while into the journey and was then cancelled and the STP 4M47 got used - that threw me off somewhat.
Bizarre path which seems to be 2 minutes behind and 3 minutes ahead of passenger trains on the North London line?New 4M47 path for Tuesday:

4M47 late and seems stuck awating a path onto mainline.Bizarre path which seems to be 2 minutes behind and 3 minutes ahead of passenger trains on the North London line?
The Sahara is usually much cooler than the cab of a 66!!!!!. How quiet are the flakes? There are heat restrictions on the North London Line today - everything is very slow and running behind. It eventually wandered through Kensal Rise with 66799 behind around 1422 instead of 1352...
Can only imagine it'd be much cooler inside the 99 cab then the 66!

Does anyone know why 4M47 London Gateway - Hams Hall got heavily delayed at Nuneaton please?
From looks of it a bunch of freight got stuck at nuneaton, not just that so i doubt it has anything to do with the 99Just in case anyone was wanting any 100% confirmation, 4L47 Hams Hall - London Gateway passed Barking just after 05:00 this morning with 66799 leading 99006 and then about 45 containers.
While on 4L47, 99006 became the first 99 to go on the Hillmorton Jn - Hanslope Jn via Roade section of the WCML.
4M47 London Gateway - Hams Hall is also 100% confirmed as 99006+66799+20 containers.

99001 may have had a problem today as 4H31 Doncaster Decoy - Peterborough was delayed and 99010 was added to it. Neither 99001 or 99010 have worked again today with 99002 doing 4Z60 and 4Z61 (and possibly 4Z63/4Z64) by itself.
Thank you for all of this, extremely helpful!Yes, 4H31 delay yesterday recorded as being a loco issue. 99001 still at Pboro, with 99010 working 0Z64-0Z65-0Z67-0Z70-0Z76 today (Pboro - Doncaster - Toton - Doncaster - Pboro - Leicester). 99002 has continued shuttling between Peterborough and Doncaster - worked 4Z63 + 4Z64 last night and 4D30-4H31-4D32-4H33-4Z60 today, with a set of 6 empty IIA sand wagons.
As far as I know, 99's at Leicester depot on Friday (and today) are 99003, 99006, 99008, 99009 and 99010.On Friday, 26/06, the following were at Leicester LIP: 99003, 99005, 99006, 99009 and 99010, with at least one more inside the shed building.
I thinks its quite possible 57306, 57303 and 99005 went back on one of these, because 57306 got allocated to a train at leicester on friday... that was cancelled, but nevertheless it was still allocated to it either way showing it probably was thereAs far as I know, 99's at Leicester depot on Friday (and today) are 99003, 99006, 99008, 99009 and 99010.
So, assuming the above is true, does anyone know how 99005 got from Old Dalby to Leicester please? RTT shows 2 cancelled schedules from Old Dalby to Leicester on Thursday (0Z12 and 0Z90). Did one of these actually run and the cancellation is an error?
