Lucky it didn't catch fire.
BBC South today did a report on their 1830 show on BBC1.
Sally Taylor referred to Gatwick TRAIN STATION. (Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)
They showed a 442 arriving at new platform and views around the station.
Comments from Baroness Kramer and Gatwick chief executive. Government supplied the Secretary of state for this opening showing its importance to them.

That's what I was trying to get at as well, didn't word it quite right though...
Also, most people living in the vicinity of Gatwick (including Crawley, Horley, Redhill and East Grinstead) get BBC London rather than BBC South, particularly if they use Freeview. Horsham and Haywards Heath are the nearest towns which are served by BBC South on Freeview.
On Freesat, their postcode algorithm allocates north-east parts of Horsham to London as well.
New Freeview receivers will offer the viewer a choice of region preference at installation if services from more than one region are receivable.
PS: Finding BBC South's News on iplayer was also a nightmare!

It may have been 'officially' opened but is not yet in use, next monday apparently - 10/02/2014 - Weather permitting . . . . .
