Hello

With the benefit of an Oyster Card-based Zone 123 yearly travelcard can one buy a "Zone 123 boundary to Gatwick Airport" and legitimately travel from London Victoria to Gatwick on the Gatwick Express?

Are Gatwick Express trains just treated as standard Southern Trains now?

Thanks in anticipation...

Ian

Yes, provided you have the 'Any Permitted' form of the ticket, and not the cheaper 'Not Gatwick Exp'.

No, there is still a 'premium' to pay for the service between Victoria and Gatwick.

For BZ6-Gatwick, the Any Permitted is cheaper for some of the ticket types, including the SDR!
