Gateline Assistant - FGW

Hello

I have a couple of questions, I have passed the 2nd stage of the interview process (the telephone interview) for a Gateline assistant (FGW) and waiting to hear about the next stage (assessment day)

1. How long does it take to get a date for my assessment normally?
2. I am partially colour blind, I know roles I cannot perform (train driver, dispatch, Conductor) but I cannot see (in my point of view) a logical reason why I can't do this role. (I can see the difference between the different signal colours anyway) Is this a role where I am excluded from also?

The assessment could take a while but they do seem to be geting people in within a few weeks rather than months.

Your colour blindness wont be an issue for gateline assistant.
