Anyone know what units are stored there at the moment? I am thinking of visiting on Thursday but if it only HST's I will not not bother as I am searching for my missing 'pacers'.

I've just added the pacers to the website I am building so maybe you will find your answers at https://www.ukraillog.co.uk/139-144.
Alternatively there is a thread on this forum detailing current status of pacers which is in the Traction and Rolling Stock section.
As always with these sorts of things, the info supplied is to the best of our knowledge with info and resources sourced from many places but can't always be guaranteed to be totally correct. That said, I am pretty confident in saying that there will be units in store at Gascoigne Wood right now. I think quite a few of the HST sets that were there are the ones now in service with EMR so there might not be as many HST's as you envisage
