Gap in Sunday Sheffield to Manchester Stopper Service

Hi All - Hope this is the right section.

I've been looking at travelling out to the Peak District from Sheffield on a Sunday and there appears to be a two hour break between 12:14 and 14:14. The one that would be most convenient to me is of course the "missing" 13:14 that does appear to run on other days.

Does anyone know why there is this gap please?

Not the only 'gap' on the Sunday. No Northern trains from Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly (via New Mills Central) at 10:14, 16:14, 19:14 or 21:14 either. Essentially it's a two-hourly Northern stopper service on a Sunday with a handful of additions.

Isn't the reduced timetable a reaction to a shortage of traincrew on the North West side of Northern, and the desire to run a deliverable timetable?
