Hi all,
anyone know why Greater Anglia conductors are paid only 22k? this seems well well below the national average with most being around the 27-29k mark.

Applied for the norwich depot if anyone has any info on routes etc, also i have been invited for an interview with no mention of assessment, anyone know why? haha.

thanks in advance

Hi. I've applied too for London Liverpool Street. I was also surprised by the low salary but perhaps that's training salary.
Also do they take on part-time conductors because in the application it asked whether you were applying for part time, full time or either or is this just a generic application form?
It's weird because I got an email yesterday saying I was successful and have an invitation to an interview. Then 1 hour later got another email saying this was an error and my application is still under review. Extremely disappointing :(

The full wage (ignoring whatever London weighting is) is just over £25k.

Norwich depot routes are Norwich - Sheringham, Norwich - Great Yarmouth, Norwich - Lowestoft, Lowestoft - Ipswich, Ipswich - Felixstowe, Norwich - Cambridge, Norwich - London. Traction is Mk3 LHCS, Mk2 LHCS (68+37), 153, 156, 170. Earliest normal start is 0415, latest finish is 0130.

Please note current basic salary for "Senior Conductors" (Norwich intercity link and London based conductors) is £29k after two years service.
