Apologies if this is elsewhere but couldn't find anything.
With the ridiculous decision by First to axe the service between Baillieston and Airdrie, this has now cut the direct link to Parkhead Forge & Market, people wishing to make this journey will now have to use 2 different bus companies or use the train to either Shettleston, Bellgrove, Carmyle or Mount Vernon and switch to the bus to Parkhead costing people more inconvenience and money.
I wonder (and hope) if this may lead to calls for a new station at Parkhead, which i'm sure I have heard and seen rumoured about for a number of years with no progress.
What are peoples thoughts and opinions?
