Future resignalling projects

I know Salisbury-Exeter is due to be resignalled soon, but just a couple of questions about the area and project:

1) Will this result in the closure/creation of any signal boxes?
2) Are there any similar projects planned anywhere else?

I meant the Wessex Main Line project . Read somewhere that it's a mixture of 60s and 80s infrastructure.

yes, boxes will close, Gillingham through to Honiton. All future signalling will be controlled from a new work station at Basingstoke Panel. Salisbury will remain in the short time.
