Future of Beacon Rail 221s

HI, Does anyone know what is happening with all the remaining Beacon Rail 221s.2 are in Central Rivers depot with all the others at Litchurch Lane. Will they all eventually work for Cross Country?

The general view is that they are not going to CrossCountry, which has only agreed terms for 12 of the 20 Avanti 221s, and may be available for open access projects, if they gain approval.

Many open access projects have cited 22x as their proposed rolling stock.
