317732 is planned to run from Eastleigh to BTS/Ilford on 28/02. It is unlikely to return to Ilford. The unit will undergo some testing associated with the re-traction of 722. GBRf will carry out the movement which will depart Eastleigh approx 09.00.

Any idea why all the 317/7s are beginning to congregate at Ilford, and any idea where their new home will be?

These two are for some further testing that can not be conducted on 722 and 732 as they are at various stages of modification. Once testing is complete it is likely that 708 and 709 will return to Eastleigh

Thanks v much :) Is 732 receiving the same mods as 722 then?

According ton the 321448 thread, 317722 has been repainted in GA red & white. Does anyone know anything else about this?

Now that really is news to me. They'll need to repaint it again fairly soon

GA have the franchise until 2016 now though, so not that soon anymore. It surprised me that it had been repainted, as there was no guarantee it would be GA doing the passenger trial, but apparently:
Completely unrelated, but the 317 with the funny lights and big toilet etc has just been repainted so I guess it'll be back in service soon!
I for one can't wait to see it.
