Yesterday I a deer at 42m 111chains milepost on the embankment just staring at the tracks.

At Clapham I saw a WCR 47 (I think it was anyway - view not good from a Disastro).

(There was a Channel Tunnel 37 at Clapham the other day with the rings on the side)

Passed an EWS 67 pulling Pullman stock towards London.

An orange flare gently falling towards the Soton end of the runway at Eastleigh Airport as a plane was coming in to land (no idea of the significance and the plane didn't abort).

Another deer by the whistle board for 'Deer Leap' foot crossing just after Ashurst.

The relieving driver asked if I had seen the swan in the 10ft (centre section of 4 tracks) at Winchfield. I hadn't.

Route learner a couple of days ago saw a Peacock in the cess at Sway. Don't know where that came from around there. I saw one at Crewkerne but that'd probably come from Cricket St Thomas Wildlife Park.
