Most will be specified for 9%g minimum, which is 0.88m/s2, but will probably achieve more in practice (and 12%g in emergency). Older units with tread brakes such as classes 150-156 will only be specified for 7%g or 0.69m/s2.

Virtually everything in the last 30years will be 9%g for full service. The last EMU type not to have 9%g were the 442s.
