FSR Job Application

I have just filled out the Screening Questionnaire then clicked the submit button at the bottom of the page but it goes back and i have to do it all again . I dont want a repeat of this ! Anything im doing wrong?

Might be worth contacting FSR to advise them and asking whether or not they have actually received the application. If they've not had yours but they've received others in the last 24 hours, might be worth trying from another computer.

I just posted on another thread about my frustrations with the First Careers site, its a bit user unfriendly eh?

The application wasn't completed i still had the last section to do . Ive had problems before with this.

Ive tried completing the application a second time and once ive completed the screening questionnaire there is no next or save button . This is an outrage and ive sent a complaint to Scotrail. Is this just me?

Maybe try doing it on a different browser, it sounds like the website is not displaying properly, otherwise yes complain to ScotRail!

Perhaps your session is timing out?

A way to resolve this is copy all of the questions of the entire application form, paste them into a word processing program (e.g. word, open office, pages etc) answer all of the questions there and then paste these into the website one by one...

Does anyone know if First Scotrail accept applications/CV's etc if you contact them direct at Caledonian Chambers/Atrium Court or their address in Aberdeen?


Maybe that could be worth a try if the site is not cooperating?

Ive often thought of doing that but id bet they would ask you to apply online . Managed to submit another application today but i clicked submit after the screening questionnaire and never fille in the equal opportunities page .:roll:

Been knocked back for gateline assistant for FGW before the closing date . I wonder if its because i live in Glasgow:(
