Some FSR drivers seem to have decided not to work Sunday's at the moment - last week a few services were canceled, and this week a late (Saturday afternoon) announcement was issued about cancellations on the Glasgow-Cumbernauld (until 4pm), Glasgow Central-Edinburgh routes (this was important because due to engineering, there was a RRS between Falkirk High and Edinburgh, so the Glasgow Central-Edinburgh service was enhanced for the Sunday (normally Mon-Sat only)). Also bustitution on one Aberdeen-Glasgow and the Edinburgh-Dunblane.

It's almost like NX being in charge again!!

It is a real shame for this franchise which had improved so much over the past 3 years, especially with the enhanced Sunday service in the run up to christmas (Sunday services on routes which are normally Mon-Sat only).

The notice informing customers was put online on friday (im almost 100% sure about that)
The result of the ballot for strick action will be known on 14 November however FSR are working hard to ensure that the situation is resolved. There is problems at the moment with the staff and the company mainly due to the reason that they want to be seen as "THE SAFEST" in the UK.

The online one may have been, but the station poster at Queen St was IIRC not up at 10am on Saturday, but was by 6pm.

Most is overtime (ie the routes which have trains cancelled) trains will run on the shuttles and also west highland line services, the driver of the 18:20 whl service works to cumbernauld and back so that is not overtime. There is a lot of discussion at HQ at the minute especially within HR!

Is the action due to wanting increased payment for overtime, or are they using withdrawal of overtime as a way to force the pay deal generally? Is Sunday in the working week for FSR drivers, or do they have a volunteer system like Central?

Nothing to do with pay its to do with a driver/s who have been dealt with badly by fsr and the other drivers aint happy about it.
