FSP ticket

What is the FSP ticket in Avantix for? It is shown as FIRST CAP C ONLY as the restriction and the description is FIRSTGP STAF PR. What is it used for, is it for staff, or people travelling with staff, or something else? It always seems to be £5 whether the normal fare is £2 or £88! Thanks :)

I would imagine it's the vouchers that staff of First TOCs are given each year. Staff can take their friends (or family who don't have travel facilities) on First trains for £5 return. There are slightly different restrictions for each of the TOCs, including Hull Trains, which requires advance booking, I believe. In all cases, the passengers using the vouchers have to be accompanied by the member of staff. Up to four may travel on one voucher, but I think that can vary depending on TOC.

spot on fred, they're "friends and family" tickets where a first group employee (including bus employees but they also have to have a £5 ticket for themslef aswell) can take 4 people with them, on FGW you get a day ranger for the entire FGW network, on the other TOCs you get a return.
