Hi All

I will need to travel from London Euston to the East India station on the DLR and was wondering whether anyone could confirm the route to take and also what ticket would be required?

Looking at the maps, I think I would have to travel from Euston tube station to Bank via the Northern Line, then change to the DLR to go forward to East India.

Please can anyone confirm this, what ticket would be required, and if anyone knows how long this would take also?

Thanks

:D Yep. Change at Bank for the DLR. Overall journey time about 30-32 minuites.

Cash fare is £4.00 (Single) or £1.60 or £2.20 (with an Oyster Pay as you Go Card) depending on the time of the day.

Oh, and there was me hoping for a Euston - St Pancras - Paris-Nord - Paris-Est - Strasbourg - Vienna - Budapest - Bucharest - Istanbul - Ankara - Van
- Tehran - Bam - Quetta - Lahore - Amritsar - Delhi - Kolkata itinerary. Do they take Oystercard on the Trans-Asia Express?

Thanks for your reply. If I was to purchase a Zone ticket, do you know which one would cover the journey from Euston Tube to East India on the DLR?

This may be one of the routes valid from Jan 2010, check with the operator first. :)

East India is in Zones 2 and 3. So it will be fine to buy a Zone 1 and 2 ticket. Current travelcard price is £5.60. I'd recommend using Oyster myself.

It's by no means perfect, but it certainly has features (such as the map) that TfL's mainly good site could learn from.
