What do freightliner use their TEA wagons on?

yeah I have only seen one wagon that was in cardiff. may email freightliner see if they can give some idea.

They only have 6 wagons, so in all honesty I should imagine theses will be absorbed in to a bigger fleet of TEA'S http://wagons.fotopic.net/c1673069.html shows all of them.

To be honest, I was expecting a thread on whether Freightliner used PG Tips, Tetley, Typhoo, or something else!

And if we know freightliners official tea of choice then by all means do add a response.

FL ordered them when they won the HOR (Humber) oil traffic from EWS way back when. When they lost the traffic back to DBS recently, AIUI the wagons were sold to VTG and operate as part of the normal VTG/HOR pool.

As there's now been enough sensible answers...

So, what is the favoured brand of tea at Freightliner? Is there a split between the two sides, with Intermodal preffering Tetleys and Heavy Haul preffering PG?

Or do you drink something akin to what I heard about when I worked for the clay-mining lot in Cornwall (in the labs, where we could make decent tea) that's driunk in the mine- they brew up/stew really strong, add several tonnes of sugar and powdered milk until think, then dry it out into balls. These can then be stored, and to make a cuppa you just put a ball into a mug of hot water. Lovely....
