The Virgin Trains website shows this train running to Liverpool Lime Street, but I was under the impression that the train ran to Manchester Piccadilly. So is their timetable wrong, or has it now been diverted to Liverpool now? From a timetable point of view, it makes more sense as, running to Manchester, it was overtaken by the 19.00 departure, whereas it apparently does beat the 19.07 departure to Liverpool.

It's a mistake - according to journey planners the train still runs to Manchester. To have 4 services within 1 hour seems a bit much for Liverpool anyway! :D

Virgin have made a number of mistakes in their online timetables. (I don't know about the printed ones yet - I will pick them up from Euston this Saturday coming.)

For example, the 21:07 service to Liverpool is shown as running to Crewe only, and that customers must take a "connecting" service to Liverpool. The "connections" also have a "y" next to them, even though the "Notes" page doesn't even mention a "y"! (For the record, the train does run to Liverpool direct.)

On the E/F timetable, the 06:16 service from Preston to Birmingham has Birmingham highlighted (to say that alighting customers will be served breakfast), even though the service terminates at Birmingham! :o Wolverhampton is also highlighted, even though meals (or sandwiches) are never served to customers travelling between Wolverhampton and Birmingham.
