Wondering if anyone can tell me exactly what this train is? Caught only a momentary glimpse of it between rubbish skips in the Linlithgow recycling centre, sounding like a HST, and with what looked like a greenish power car at the back.

Open train times states it was a "Diesel loco with a 455 tonne load

It was the Northern Belle Christmas lunch excursion running Edinburgh - Dundee - Perth - Stirling - Edinburgh top and tailed with 68s. (68016 and 68023)

Thanks very much - that makes sense. I gather it was running 'clockwise' as it was west-bound when I saw it.
